Meet Holden
Your Disney Planning Specialist

Hi!  I'm Holden, your Disney Travel Specialist! I am a husband, dog dad, and Disney/Marvel/Star Wars super-fan! When I'm not at Disney or planning a trip, I enjoy cooking, reading, and walks with my wife, Paige, and our Samoyed, Daisy.

Much to the enjoyment of Paige (though literally nobody else), I will always belt out "I'll Make a Man Out of You" any chance I get.  I am totally not a singer, and I apologize to anyone who has had to hear that - but Mulan is my favorite and I can't help myself!

I will always be team Cap, and if you get me going on why he's the best Avenger be ready, because I can do this all day.

A potentially controversial take, but the Star Wars animated series are my favorites - the Clone Wars is a masterpiece, and how could you not love the Bad Batch?!

Our Story

I took my first trip to Disney when I was five years old and, while I don't remember all of the details, I remember the feelings of excitement and joy, getting to dine alongside characters (Chip and Dale were my absolute favorites from Rescue Rangers!), setting sail on a swashbuckling adventure on Pirates of the Caribbean (smell the pirate water), and just being immersed in a world of magic and wonder. My family took another trip when I was in high school (this time the thrills of Expedition Everest, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, and Tower of Terror stole the show for me), and then I got to visit a third time at the conclusion of my internship for PwC, a public accounting firm, which taught me a little about what goes in to making the magic happen.

That was my last trip for several years. I was "growing up" and focused on adult things like career and homeownership, and bogged down by the cares of life. I hit a point where I was exceptionally burned out from work and generally frustrated with life, and I was overdue for a vacation. At the suggestion of Paige (then "just a friend"), I ended up planning a last minute trip to Universal and Disney with my brother, and it was just what I needed! Seeing children dressed up as princess and pirates transported me back to the care free days of my youth. The stress of life started to melt away, and I was inspired to dream and to have childlike faith as we experienced the wonder of Disney. We enjoyed dining at top tier restaurants, rode all of the rides (not literally, but almost, and I have the spreadsheets to prove it!), and made memories I'll cherish forever as we traveled the world together at EPCOT.

This ignited a new love for Disney within me, which was perfect because Paige (a Disney super-fan in her own right) and I began dating the next year!

Our first travel experience together was a trip to California where we explored where it all began at Disneyland Park, and of course enjoyed a visit to Disney's California Adventure while we were there. We learned what it looked like to travel together, worked through some differences in travel preferences, and grew closer together. I also became obsessed with the Monte Christo at Cafe Orleans (seriously I almost cried, it was amazing), Ronto Wraps from Ronto Roasters (don't sleep on the breakfast Ronto), and Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums (I mean, after the subluminal messaging on Incredicoaster how can you not indulge in that warm and gooey chocolate chip goodness?).

As our relationship grew and I realized Paige was the one, I knew there was no other place to propose than at Disney. I planned a special trip for us and tried my best to keep it a secret as long as possible, but eventually spilled the beans (I wanted her to be able to prepare and pack accordingly!). On the first day of our trip, we soaked up the sun and lounged in the lazy river at Stormalong Bay, feasted like Polynesian Royalty at 'Ohana, and then went for a little walk where I steered her to the marina for a surprise fireworks cruise. On the Seven Seas Lagoon in front of Magic Kingdom, I proposed during Happily Ever After. She said yes - we were living a fairy tale!

When it came time to choose our honeymoon, we just had to do something Disney. We decided on a short stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge (seeing the Animal Kingdom wake up right outside your balcony is the coolest!) before heading out on the Disney Fantasy for a cruise (room service Mickey Bars and brunch at Palo - what more could you ask for?!). It was a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and, of course, plenty of pixie dust!

And now, with Disney being a place that holds such a special place in my heart, I want to help you experience the magic and wonder of a Disney vacation! My love of Disney, personal experiences, and extensive research of all things Disney; along with the organizational skills, project planning, and attention to detail from my experience as an accountant make me the perfect person to help make your dream vacation a reality!
